About
Luke is a Gastroenterology trainee whose research focuses on the immunological mechanisms and cellular interactions underlying perianal Crohn’s disease. He was awarded the Imperial College London Lee Family Faculty of Medicine Scholarship in 2023 and is currently undertaking a PhD with Professor Ailsa Hart and Mr Phil Tozer at St Mark’s Hospital, in collaboration with Professor Nicholas Powell at Imperial College London. He has contributed to TOpClass projects developing clinical criteria to identify isolated perianal Crohn’s disease, as well as projects aimed at optimising combined medical and surgical therapies for fistulating disease.
