Shivani is a higher surgical trainee in the East of England deanery.  She is currently undertaking a PhD under the supervision of Mr. Phil Tozer and Professor Hart in the Robin Phillips’ Fistula Research Unit, St Mark’s Hospital. Her research focuses on outcome measurement and improving quality of life in patients with perianal Crohn’s disease.

Shivani is involved in the co-ordination of TOpClass meetings and projects, including the development of a Core Outcome Measurement Set for Crohn’s anal fistula (CAF-COMS).
