Dr Ordás is a board-certified gastroenterologist and Senior Consultant in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Unit at Hospital Clinic Barcelona, with a particular interest in advanced imaging for the assessment of inflammatory activity, disease complications and therapeutic response. Together with Dr. Panés and Dr. Rimola, she led the development, validation, and clinical implementation of the Magnetic Resonance Index of Activity (MaRIA) and its simplified versions as internationally established reference tools for Crohn’s disease assessment.
